Adena Certified Inspections specializes in pre-sale home inspections. A home inspection is a limited visual inspection of the components of a home. The examination is non-invasive, meaning that no destructive discovery is done and no furniture or stored items are moved during the inspection.
Some of the areas inspected include: roof, attic, exterior, foundation, rooms, site grade, electrical, heating system, plumbing system and the sub-floor crawl space. A written report is generated directly after the inspection and will be available as a print or digital format (print requires a fee).
The time required to complete a home inspection depends on the size, age and the components of the home. The average inspection takes between 2 to 3 hours to complete, and all parties are welcome to be present during any part of the inspection.
Adena Certified Inspections complies with the State of Oregon Standards of Practice. A copy of these standards can be obtained by contacting us, or from www.ccb.state.or.us.
The future cannot be predicted. As a result, Adena Certified Inspections cannot guarantee or warrantee the inspection. The information in the home inspection report is a snapshot of the homes condition at the time of the inspection. However, if something is missed due to limited visibility then we will come back and inspect it.
